The Greenfields Residents Association website is a community-based website intended to inform residents about issues, news and events relating to Greenfields as well as the wider community.  We encourage open discussion so please feel free to post any comments or concerns you may have on the homepage.


Greenfields is a stylish modern housing development built by Frisby Construction.  Located on the Old Tramore Road, Greenfields is adjacent to Avondale and only 1.5km from Waterford City Centre.  Waterford’s Outer Ring Road is only 500 meters away, giving easy access to Waterford Regional Hospital and the IDA Industrial Estate.


Greenfields is served by a regular city bus route and is  within walking distance of a local shopping complex hosting a small supermarket, pharmacy, take away and pub among others.

Waterford City

Waterford city is within easy reach from Greenfields either on foot, by bus or by car.  Waterford is a historic and cultural city. It is a city of colour and excitement. About a mile from the city centre you will find the factory and visitor centre of Waterford Crystal, a lifestyle product of exquisite craftsmanship, synonymous with Waterford for over 200 years.
