Estate Clean-up Weekend 20th – 22nd February
The Greenfields Residents Association supported by Waterford City & County Council plan to have an estate Clean-up Weekend from 20th – 22nd February 2015. All residents are encouraged to come out and lend a hand. Clean up outside your house, your street and make a difference!
If you would like to take part then please email your name and address to greenfieldswaterford@live.com and an approved rubbish bag will be delivered to your house along with instructions of when and where to leave your rubbish bag for collection.

This Halloween the Greenfields Residents Association are asking all residents to leave an outdoor light/security light on. Let’s ensure our estate is bright and safe for all those trick or treating this Friday! @GreenfieldsLive

The Greenfields Residents Association wish all residents and especially the young children of the estate a very happy and safe Halloween. To ensure that this year’s Halloween period is safe and fun for all, the Greenfields Residents Association will be actively monitoring and patrolling the estate and surrounding areas over the coming days and for the entire Halloween period.
Should you notice waste for bonfires building up in the estate please report this to Waterford City & County Council on 0761 102020. You are also encouraged to report any anti-social behaviour or unusual activity to the Gardai on 051 305300. EPA App “See it? Say it!” for iPhone
The EPA App for iPhones called See it? Say it! allows you to report environmental pollution. Using the App you can now take a photograph of the pollution incident, input GPS location coordinates, add a summary description of what you want to convey and your contact details and this will automatically be sent to the relevant local authority for follow up.
So, you can now report issues such as backyard burning, flytipping, water pollution, odours and littering by using the new iPhone App or by phoning the complaints line. You can download the App now from the iTunes App Store (search iTunes for: ‘See it Say it’) or visit http://goo.gl/gOJMa
Weed Spraying
The Greenfield Residents Association are looking for volunteers!
As you may have noticed weeds are growing along kerb sides and between paving stones on footpaths around the estate. The Greenfields Residents Association have a number of weed sprayers available. If you wish to volunteer we can arrange to supply you with a sprayer and weed killer solution. Please note that we cannot provide a weed sprayer to anyone under 18 years of age.
If you are interested please email your details to greenfieldswaterford@live.com indicating a time which suits to arrange delivery of a sprayer and solution and the area you intend to spray for weeds.

New Waterford Council Website
As part of the amalgamation of Waterford City Council and Waterford County Council, a joint website has been established and is in operation from today, June 3rd.
Information prior to this date will remain on http://www.waterfordcity.ie for a period of 3 months and thereafter will be wound down. All information that is still relevant will be transferred (and amalgamated) over the coming weeks. For new and up to date information, forms and so on, please now visit and bookmark www.waterfordcouncil.ie which is still in BETA.
