The Greenfields Residents Association supported by Waterford City Council plan to have an estate Clean-up Day Saturday 6th November from 11.00am – 1.00pm. This is a great opportunity to lend a hand to ensure our estate is well maintained and presented.
Residents will be meeting at No. 1 Beech Court (near the entrance of the estate) at 11.00am. Bags, pickers and gloves will be provided. All motorists are asked to pay particular attention and reduce speed on the day to ensure we have a safe Clean-up Day for all.
would it be possible to remove all the broken trees with there supports as they are an eyesore
Glynn,
Many thanks for your comment. I agree that they look an eyesore. I have been reassured by Frisby Construction that once all construction work is complete in Greenfields that the landscaper will be back to plant/replant trees and shrubs around the estate (during planting season).
In the meantime please feel free to remove the broken tree(s) and support(s) near your house. To remove all the dead trees would be a hugh task for the Residents Association. The Clean-Up Day is primarily to remove litter from around the estate.
I hope that you can lend a hand on Saturday next.
Kind regards,
John
